Bobbi Meloro Recognized as Florida Legal Elite

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. (July 25, 2017) – Plantation attorney Bobbi L. Meloro was
recently recognized in the 2017 edition of Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite™. The list of
1,080 honorees, published in the July issue of Florida Trend magazine, includes attorneys
in private practice as well as top government and non-profit attorneys.
Ms. Meloro practices several areas of law at her firm, Meloro Law. In the area of elder
law, she helps seniors protect their assets and qualify for Medicaid when needed for long
term care. In the areas of commercial and business-related litigation, Ms. Meloro
represents banks and corporations of all sizes in lawsuits involving depositor disputes,
contract issues, business torts, and employment law. Ms. Meloro has been practicing law
for over 18 years and, for the last 10 of those years, has maintained her law office in
Plantation, where she also lives with her husband and three children. Ms. Meloro has been
an active volunteer in the community at St. Gregory the Great Church, where she has been
a parishioner since 1999, and as a Girl Scout leader for over 12 years.
To compile the list, Florida Trend invited all actively practicing Florida lawyers to name
the attorneys that they hold in highest regard – lawyers with whom they have personally
worked and would recommend to others. The winner list represents just over 1% of the
active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida. Upon learning of the award, Ms.
Meloro expressed her appreciation: “I am extremely honored to be recognized by my peers
in this fashion. To be endorsed by the lawyers I have worked alongside in the community
is very special because it speaks to professionalism and ethics—traits that are of the utmost
importance in the practice of law.
